Confirmation

The order is binding when you have received written confirmation from Lofoten Insight about payment received. Lofoten Insight is then responsible for delivering the service you have ordered, at the same time as you become financially responsible for the order. The moment you make a booking, you also confirm that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and any travel companion. You accept responsibility for payment being made to us for all travellers in your group. You are responsible for ensuring that the reservation is in accordance with the booking. You will be responsible for ensuring that everyone in your party is kept fully informed about what has been booked and about any subsequent changes.

Cancellation

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before departure for the activity. The amount paid will be refunded in full. For cancellations less than 48 hours before departure, no refund will be given. If Lofoten Insight cancels a tour, a full refund will be given.

Complaints

Any complaints related to the service provided by Lofoten Insight must be reported in writing within 5 days after the event. Complaints submitted later than this deadline will not be given any form of financial compensation.

Liability

Lofoten Insight is insured for liability through an insurance agent. Participants must have current travel insurance in addition. Lofoten Insight can not be held responsible for losses and additional costs due to delays beyond the company's control such as strikes, accidents, illness or other conditions that fall under force majeure. Lofoten Insight is not responsible for valuables brought by the customer, such as bags, glasses, camera / phone, clothes, etc.

Our Responsibility

Lofoten Insight reserves the right to change tours and programs due to weather conditions. All programs and tours may be changed or cancelled for security reasons. In case of cancellation on our part, the amount paid will be refunded in full. The participant who has booked the trip will mainly be contacted by e-mail used when booking. It is therefore important that the participant checks their e-mail regularly for messages.

Customer Responsibility

The participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in any booked trips. The customer must comply with the rules of order and instructions given by the organiser.

Lofoten Insight reserves the right to refuse participation in a trip if the customer is a threat to safety, either for himself or the other participants or if the customer acts in such a way that he / she is a great embarrassment to the other participants.

Participants in our tours confirm with their reservation that there are no medical reasons to doubt their participation in the described program. Instructions of personnel must be observed. In cases where this is not followed, our personnel have permission to reject the participant from further participation in the trip. In such cases, the participant will not be entitled to a refund.

In the event that a participant breaks his or her participation in a trip or program at his or her own request, he or she is not entitled to a refund.

Disputes

Any disputes between customer and Lofoten Insight are subject to the jurisdiction of local courts where Lofoten Insight AS is located.
